What even is GMDreq, anyway?
GMDreq is a website that handles level requests for Geometry Dash. It's primarily designed for streamers who want an easier way to collect level IDs from viewers without having someone else compile them into a spreadsheet or haphazardly copy them from chat.
How do I add my stream to the front page of the site?
Log in, go to your user settings, and change your channel URL to something like "https://youtube.com/@[YOUR HANDLE]", "https://youtube.com/channel/[YOUR CHANNELID]", or "https://twitch.tv/[YOUR USERNAME]"
Make sure that there isn't a slash after your handle/channel ID/Twitch username.
The automated system put in place to check livestream status happens once per hour, and will slow down a lot if this site has a large user count.
If I notice that multiple streams from one user do not relate to level requests, I will remove their channel URL from the database. This is for a multitude of reasons:
- This site is not intended to simply promote people's live streams. If you want that, go to some random SEOmaxxing sub4sub forum.
- It could potentially misdirect site users to unrelated live streams instead of streamers who are doing level requests.
Why should I use this site over any other solution for level requests?
It works on mobile... that's about it, really.
Why do level ID copying and reporting not work?
You probably have something that blocks JavaScript from being executed on this site.
How can I remove myself from the list of streaming users if I'm not doing level requests (without removing my channel URL?)
Add "[NR]" (without quotes) to your stream's description.
What's a GDPS?
GDPS stands for Geometry Dash Private Server. These servers are unofficial, isolated instances of the game with their own levels, moderators, and rate standards.
If you see a user with a GDPS in their request page, you will only be able to request levels from that specific private server (unless if the page owner changes their server settings.)
Can I add my GDPS to this site?
I'll make a form that GDPS owners can fill out in the future.
